World Cup Soccer Results and comments

Italy was crowned winner of the World Cup in 2006, Germany received the tournament host and played great football on the road to the semifinals. But it was the level of great football? I'm not sure the Italians were strongly emphasized in the defense but not a brilliant team, when they struggled to beat nine-man United States and were lucky to beat Australia with a final sanction.

When we look at some of the team World Cup 2006, one can see manynot hold.

ITALY-winners

Outstanding defense and Buffon the best goalkeeper in the world, as he did with his big Zidane in extra time to register. Nothing more attacking formation than normal, but no real success with Strikeforce Toni emulate the series A vote for the strike.

As with most good teams, they managed to grind and some results have been very difficult to beat. Many of their best players are now reaching their peak, interesting to see how the implementationEuro 2006.

FRANCE Runners-up

The veterans of France has surprised many by reaching the final. Inspired by Zidane, the French owners abolished in Brazil and Portugal have also beaten in the semifinals.

The French were the last for a long time they dominated the game, but the crazy pitch with Zidane transmission cost them dear as Zidane, Vieira and Henry are all available for the meeting of penalty kicks, the French had to be content 'runners.

GERMANY-3rdPlace

The Germans went to the World Cup as a foreigner despite their country of origin because of a series of terrible consequences. The manager Klinsmann is under pressure, but the Germans well and was only denied a final point, when the Italians scored two late goals in extra time in the semifinals.

The Germans, if the young player of the tournament and Kloss they also took the top scorer award.

PORTUGAL-4. Place

Portugalemerged as serious contenders in the tournament in recent years under the leadership of the great Phil Scolari. Impressive victories over Holland and England were not adjusted when they performed poorly and were eliminated by France in the semifinals.

Players like Figo, Deco and Pauleta to their last World Cup were played, but they still have some young players like Ronaldo in the making.

Quarterfinal BRAZIL

The owners have played great football in the early stages, despite RonaldoDo not look anywhere near fit. Ronaldinho showed some neat stuff, but was quiet in a large number of games due to tight marking.

A very lacklusture ads against France in the house Brazilains and for players such as Carlos, Ronaldo, Emerson, Cafu, Junior and probably the end of their World Cup dreams.

ENGLAND quarterfinals

With so many good players no doubt, England is underway. They are terrible in the group stage against the big gunssuch as Paraguay and Trinidad and Tobago!

Your manager does not have enough strikers and Rooney is clearly not in shape and Owen injured there was no real strength in depth to the team. The long ball tactic too often, and England were once used to beat sanctions to step quarterfinals.

ARGENTINA quarterfinals

The South Americans played beautiful things in the early stages and had many outstanding players. However, they were eliminated by the host countryPenalties again as an early form is not in the latter stages of the tournament.

A proposed narrow victory against Mexico, they were not unbeatable and the Germans more than they voted in the quarterfinals blunt. In young emerging players like Messi there is no doubt that Argentina is again against the next World Cup.

Image : http://www.flickr.com

The 2010 World Cup is still some time before the qualifying campaign have not yet begun, but now almost every time get the ball rolling and begin to predict the eventual winner in South Africa?

For the first time, the world's leading sports event will be on the African continent. This will bring a different culture to the forefront of the consciousness of all, although the tournament will be held in Africa's richestEconomy.

Is there a home field advantage? Does this mean that the emerging states of Africa has frequently been better than in the last World Cup, with tips for size, but always seem too short? Or he will be a new standard by the gang of five nations to lift the trophy again? Besides the usual suspects, it is not surprising that Brazil and Argentina - the giants of football in South America.

In Europe we must look beyond the current world champions Italy, theExperts perennial tournament in Germany, and the atmosphere of France. Or do we? England finally break free, it is too acute release? And, under the direction of Italian Fabio Capello to finally achieve the dream of their country after 44 years, it is the only successful World Cup? Then Underachiever colleagues Spain meet for a consultation and once to meet talents to bring to them in general a World Cup?

Following thisTeams, there are also a number of potential winners. If given a series of chance that require each country during the tournament underdogs Croatia are always technically gifted. Sweden, Norway and Russia are strong. Holland is full of talent. Greece and Turkey have a long path, respectively. In truth, it is difficult to judge the results, but my head tells me it is not one of women's fashion. My heart is on the other hand, hopes it will be in England.
